I firmly believe that our nation is in crisis. The wealthiest few, in their isolation, are either completely unaware of or choose to not see the fundamental problems that plague our democracy. Our democratic instituitions are crumbling in an age of fear-mongering, corruption, militarism, and abandonment of civil and political rights. I believe a lack of political awareness and concern has pervaded the majority of Americans for too long. Because of this, we have elected into the highest office an incompetent, venal, and shameful excuse of a leader, one who, along with his administration and its decisions, history will remember as an embarassment to our sacred American principles and to the principles of honest, just, and progressive humanity. The time is ripe for change. This year's Presidential election is the most important political campaign of our generation. I urge you all to get informed and exercise your basic rights as a citizen and thinking human being.
I believe that the agenda adhered to by Republican Party during my lifetime is one of social and intellectual regression, distraction, and division, greed, blame, chauvinism, xenophobia, misinformation, fanatical corporate and religious catering, anti-poor and anti-environmental platforms, recklessly pro-war and tyrannical foregin objectives, and illegal, manipulatory Executive mismanagment. Because Republican ideals are glaringly detrimental to the interests of freedom-loving, pro-Constitution Americans, I am not endorsing a member of said party. I am also not endorsing Mrs. Clinton, who seems to be a closet Republican and a pawn of an archaic, inefficient, cutthroat, shallow, and corrupt system of political thought and strategy.
I am endorsing Mr. Barack Obama. I think his election to the Presidency will be the new beginning our country badly needs, and his leadership and guidance will help bring prosperity, pride, virtue, and integrity back to our great nation. Obama is my choice; who do you choose?
