Excerpts from "Scourge"
Myna
Bow to me, wayfarer.
Your voyage is nearly complete.
Do not be afraid.
Pluck a pebble from the fountain
And be seated.
Do you desire indulgence?
Yes, it is time.
The last twilight approaches.
Anoint your weary senses
With purple-sweetened wafts
And unravel your longest pleasures.
Who am I?
I am the cycle of the dragon.
I am the paradise of the lotus.
Chaos monk,
White tiger,
Dual demon,
Spear of silk,
I am the nameless one in a temple of jade.
I am the crane's path, east and west.
I am the mimic of divination.
Now, wayfarer,
Answer your guide.
Truth. Enlightenment. Purity.
Virtue. Harmony. Bliss.
Which pebble picked you?
Look, and see the
Smoky, marble moon
Consoling the valley before the monsoon.
Have you balanced the flute and the egg?

King Mosquito Mouth
King mosquito needs a drink
His barbed mouth is dripping ink
He sees his world and doesn't blink
Smelling lies that always stink
To delude what he doesn't think
Placing blame is his endeavor
To war's slogan's he will cling
Democracy by force is better
His words seem so just and clever
Infecting truths make his cure sting
To doubt the cause is to negate
His patriot debate
His rule is one of reversed action
Of ethics when it thwarts distraction
Taking sides with slander's faction
He'll brand you with his larva views
He'll only choose the safest news
To saturate, suck, and abuse
Loyal party savior
He absorbs venal behavior
Sensitive in lunacy
He interrupts so he can be
For progress as you listen
Detained by your submission
Morphing for all to see
Kneel before the sponge-mouth king!
His scepter is a pointed finger
His flag he's called to wring
Monarch of the parasites
He's ever so enlightened
He's a weakling deformed
So reckless yet so frightened

A Voice of the Ages
I believe that the greatest artists are those who are able to transcend their personal lives to create something beyond the realm of sensory association with which they are familiar. They affect lasting change upon their respective societies and influence the new past of the unborn world through the exploration of the infinite. Great art expands the frontier of expectation, faith, feeling and the meaning of the psychological condition. That which is timeless must also be profound.
